Falcons kick off Air Force Diving Invitational

COLORADO SPRINGS- Opening the initial day of competition at the Air Force Diving Invitational, divers such as Alex Kenyon, Gavin Wixom, Ian Asuncion-Duong, Tristan Trax, and Korbin Moyer participated in the 3-Meter Dive at Cadet Natatorium.
Kenyon was the lone Falcon to crack the top-12 of the morning preliminary session, having been judged for a 309.55 in his first six dives. The junior would eventually score a 274.55 in the final round to place 12th overall.
Wixom placed 14th among the 28-men preliminary field, scoring a 280.25. Asuncion-Duong notched a 268.15 to finish 16th in the preliminary round, while Trax (219.25) and Moyer (185.85) were 27th and 28th, respectively.
Tomorrow, the Air Force Diving Invitational continues with the men competing in the 1-Meter Dive on Friday, February 2. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am MT.
