COLORADO SPRINGS- The Falcons began the annual Air Force Diving Invitational with the 1-Meter Dive on Thursday, as Kadyn Macpherson, Jaymie Yow, and Ashley Griffith each took part in the opening round of competition.
Macpherson was Air Force's highest scorer, being judged for 187.20 points to finish 31st in the preliminary round. Yow placed 36th with a final score of 168.90, while Griffith was awarded 154.45 points after her initial six dives.
Neither of the three Falcons qualified for the final round consisting of the top-12 scorers.
Tomorrow, the women will again get back on the boards, as Air Force will take part in the 3-Meter Dive on Friday, February 2. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am MT.
