Air Force Men’s Tennis Downed by Northern Arizona

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis dropped a 5-2 match to Northern Arizona (6-5) Sunday morning at the USAFA indoor tennis courts.

Air Force won the doubles match but was only able to pick up one more point as NAU rallied.

The Falcons picked up the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3. Phillip Deaton and AJ Moore won at No. 2 over De Boes/Agynskyy 6-4. Arjun Kersten and Jack Brown clinched the doubles point with the win at No. 2 over Torres/Ziomber 7-6 (9-7).

The Lumberjacks opened with three consecutive wins in singles to jump ahead 3-1. Kersten made it a 3-2 match with a win at No. 2 over Dominik Buzonics in three sets 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.

Northern Arizona was able to clinch the match with a win at No. 5.

Air Force returns to action March 2 at Rice.
