
Air Force to send two divers to NCAA Diving Qualifiers

Head diving coach Kyle Van Valkenburg will oversee Alex Kenyon and Kinzie Etzelmiller this week in Flagstaff, Arizona, as the two divers will represent Air Force at the 2024 NCAA Zone E Diving Qualifiers.
The three-day meet will begin Monday, March 11 and run through Wednesday, March 13. The meet will begin at 12:30 pm MT each day of competition.
On the men's side, Kenyon will partake in the 1-Meter and 3-Meter dives, while on the women's side, Etzelmiller is lined up to compete in the 3-Meter and Platform dives.
Kenyon has posted season-highs of 331.35 in the 1-Meter and 350.70 in the 3-Meter thus far in his junior season. Meanwhile, Etzelmiller reset the Air Force 3-Meter record in November, posting a 313.65. Etzelmiller has only dove twice on the Platform in her final season, owning a season-high score of 228.53.
In regards to qualification for the 2024 NCAA Championships, Kenyon will need to finish in the Top 6 of the 1-Meter Dive and in the Top 5 of the 3-Meter Dive. Similarly, Etzelmiller will be in need of Top 8 and Top 9 finishes in the 1-Meter and Platform dives, respectively.
