Four Falcons earn eight rifle All-America honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Four members of the Air Force rifle team earned a total of eight All-America honors, as released by the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association.
Senior Morgan Kreb and junior Lauren Hurley earned third-team aggregate honors. Kreb, Hurley and junior Scott Rockett earned second-team honors in smallbore. In air rifle, senior Peninah D'Souza earned first-team All-America honors while Hurley was named to the second team and Kreb was named honorable mention.
In aggregate scoring Hurley's average of 1180.296 was 18th in the nation while Kreb was 19th at 1179.667.
In smallbore, Kreb placed 12th at the NCAA Championships with a 585 and her season average of 586.467 was 18th in the nation. Hurley was 17th at the NCAAs (584) and was 20th in the nation with a season average of 585.867. Rockett's average of 584.6 ranked 28th in the nation.
In air rifle, D'Souza placed fifth at the NCAA Championships, and qualified for the finals, with a 598. Her season average of 595.0 was 15th in the nation. Hurley's average of 594.429 was 19th and Kreb averaged a 593.2.
Kreb earned All-America selections all four years and earned seven All-America honors. D'Souza earned her fourth All-America honor. She has earned first-team air rifle honors three straight years. Rockett and Hurley each earned their fifth All-America honor.
