
Air Force Men’s Tennis Announces 2024-25 Schedule

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis released its 2024-25 schedule, announced today by head coach Evan Urbina. The Falcons host two events in the fall and 10 home duals in the spring.
Highlights of the fall season has Air Force hosting the ITA Bedford Cup In The Mountains, Sept. 27-29 and participating in the Service Academy Challenge Sept. 20-22 at the Army Navy Club in Washington, DC.
The first chance to see the Falcons in action will be on Aug. 29 in the Blue-Silver Scrimmage as part of Parent's Weekend at the Academy.
New for 2024-25 will be the Mountain West Individual Championships, held Oct. 4-6, in Las Vegas. The ITA Fall Mountain Regional will run Oct. 17-22 in Las Vegas. The fall season wraps-up at the Denver Hidden Duals from Nov. 1-3.
"I'm excited to announce our Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 schedule," head coach Evan Urbina said. "We'd love to first highlight the Commander in Chief's Tournament in Washington D.C. September 20-22. We'll be competing at the prestigious Army Navy Club with our full team against Army, Navy, and Georgetown."
"Once again, we'll be hosting the Bedford Cup In the Mountains here at the Air Force Academy on September 27-29," Urbina added. "We're proud to showcase our exceptional facilities, and compete against the toughest competition in our region."
The Spring season starts Jan. 18 at Denver, followed by a home dual with UC Davis the following day on Jan. 19. Air Force then heads to Flagstaff, Ariz., to take on UC Riverside on Jan. 25 and host Northern Arizona on Jan. 26.
Air Force then heads to Norman, Okla., to take on perennial power Oklahoma on Feb. 1 and then a neutral-site match in Norman against Oral Roberts on Feb. 2.
The following weekend has the Falcons hosting a Feb. 8 doubleheader, first against MSU-Denver and later in the day against Montana.
Air Force then has a big weekend in Florida, taking on FGCU on Feb. 13, before a College MatchDay dual against Navy on Feb. 15. Both matches will take place at the USTA Center in the Lake Nona region of Orlando, Fla.
After a home match on Feb. 21 against Jacksonville State, the Falcons head to Utah to take on Big 12 foe BYU on March 1 and Weber State on March 2.
After a March 5 home match against Omaha, the Falcons begin Mountain West competition, opening at home on April 5 against New Mexico.
The following weekend, the Falcons host its final three home matches, taking on UNLV on April 11, Drake in a non-conference match on April 12 and San Diego State on April 13.
The Falcons round out the MW slate April 17 at Boise State and April 19 at Utah State.
Air Force then competes at the Mountain West Men's Tennis Championships April 23-25 in Las Vegas.
"In the Spring, we play a couple top-ranked opponents in BYU from the Big 12 and Oklahoma in the SEC, "Urbina said. "Those matches will be a terrific test for our team as we seek to compete against better teams every year. Another highlight, will once again, be in Lake Nona, Fla., over Presidents' Day weekend against Navy. We will then turn our attention towards conference play as we seek to play our best at the end of the year when it matters most."
