Air Force Wraps Up Competition At Hawai’i Fall Invitational

Air Force men's tennis completed competition at the Hawai'i Fall Invitational, which ran on Friday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 9, at the UH Tennis Complex in Honolulu, Hawai'i. The Falcons came away with eight wins on the weekend.

On Friday, the Falcons went 7-4 against Hawai'i Pacific. Air Force tallied six singles win and one in doubles.

Against Hawai'i Pacific, AJ Moore defeated Mile Matic in straight sets 6-4, 6-2. Jack Brown defeated Ethan Terry in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. Phillip Deaton defeated Seth Newman in three sets, 6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-4. Langdon Tingleaf defeated Arthur Pery in straight sets 6-4, 7-5. Alec Fritzinger defeated Yannick Heitzberg in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 and Caden Lee defeated Jon William Karlstad in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.

In doubles, Moore and Tingleaf defeated Matic/Perrod 7-6 (8).

On Sunday the Falcons were limited to singles play due to inclement weather. Alec Fritzinger picked up a win over Tianhao Hou in straight sets 7-6 (8), 6-3. Tyler Leaird was up a set with a 6-4 opening set against Ziwn Ju, but the match was halted due to the weather.

Air Force caps its fall season. They open spring play Jan. 24, 2026, hosting Montana State.
