Air Force announces 2024-25 Rifle Schedule

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team will open the 2024-25 season by hosting Nebraska and UTEP, Saturday, Oct. 12, at the USAFA Rifle Range. The Falcons will be at home for five of the first six events.

Air Force will defend its President's Trophy title, Saturday, Nov. 2, by taking on fellow service academies Army and Navy in West Point. The Falcons will then host Army in a dual match on Nov. 3 at the Olympic Training Center.

Air Force will compete in the Patriot Rifle Championships, Feb. 8-9, in Fort Wayne, Ind., with the NCAA Championships being held March 13-14 in Lexington, Ky.

Last season, the Falcons finished fifth in the NCAA Championships in aggregate. Air Force reached the NCAAs for the 10th straight year. Air Force returns a pair of All-Americans, seniors Lauren Hurley and Scott Rockett. Hurley earned third-team aggregate honors last season. Rockett, the NCAA air rifle champion in 2021, earned second-team honors in smallbore
