Falcon Swimming Cruises to Victory at Horsetooth Open Water

FORT COLLINS – The Air Force women's swimming team paced to victory in the team competition at the annual Horsetooth Open Water Swims, Sunday morning, at the Horsetooth Reservoir. The preseason swim serves as the first competitive action of the 2024-25 campaign.

Four Falcon distance swimmers finished in the top five, led by freshman Jordan Evans' second place finish. Senior teammate Katie Kucik finished right behind in third place. For three straight seasons, Kucik has finished in the top three in the event.

Freshmen Grace Nickell and Jena Nowoswiat showed out for the class of 2028, finishing fourth and fifth, respectfully.

Air Force will participate in its final preseason tuneup when the Falcons host the annual Blue-Silver Intersquad scrimmage on Wednesday, September 25.
