Air Force Falls at No. 4 Oklahoma State, 43-6

STILLWATER – Air Force Wrestling stacked up against fully loaded No. 4 Oklahoma State Cowboys team, falling 43-6, Friday evening in the historic Gallagher IBA Arena. OSU's lineup boasted seven wrestlers in the top 15 and accounted for 23 NCAA Championship qualifications and 10 All-America accolades. The Falcons dropped to 2-3 (0-3 Big 12) on the dual slate while Oklahoma State improved to 7-0.
Air Force's six points came by way of forfeit as the Cowboy's primary 133-pounder No. 18 Reece Witcraft did not weight in. The Cowboys claimed five technical falls and two falls in the win.
Air Force showed promise at 165 as Andrew Harmon, now 3-1 in dual action, staved off bonus points in his match against Colin Young. Antonio Ramos came up just shy of a win in the final bout against Konner Doucet, dropping a 2-1 decision. At 197, freshman Brian Burburija scored a takedown against seventh-ranked Luke Surber.
Next up, Air Force will send wrestlers to compete for titles at the David Lehman Open hosted by Franklin & Marshal. Action in Lancaster is slated to start at 9 a.m. ET.
