10/19/2025 4:41:00 PM | Men's Water Polo
Air Force kept the game close with Pepperdine the whole game, but could not get the run to overtake the Waves. Pepperdine led 5-4 after the first quarter and 10-8 at the half.
The Waves got up by as many as five, but the Falcons got the game back to within three goals at 17-14 with a minute to play. That was as close as Air Force could get as Pepperdine scored the final goal of the game.
Junior Tom Leggett led Air Force with eight goals scored. Leggett had a strong weekend, tallying 15 goals and 17 points across two games. Senior Colin Chase and junior Owen Imasaki followed with two goals each. Senior Jake Dixon added three points with a goal and two assists. Senior Luca Smith had 10 saves in goal for the Falcons.
Air Force returns to action next weekend in the Bay Area of Northern California. The Falcons travel to Cal on Friday, Oct. 24 and then play three games at the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament in Santa Clara/San Jose from Sat.-Sun., Oct. 25-26.
