USAF ACADEMY – Falcon men's soccer battled to the first shutout of the season, playing Western Athletic Conference rival Grand Canyon to a draw at nil, Sunday afternoon at Cadet Soccer Stadium. Air Force heads into the final week of regular season action with a 1-11-3 (0-5-1 WAC) record. Grand Canyon, the league's second-ranked team, is now 8-2-4 (2-1-3 WAC) in the wake of the match.
C3C goalie Brody made five saves in his first career shutout. GCU took 19 shots on the match while the Falcons fired off five attempts.
Next up, Air Force brings the 2025 campaign to a close in California. The Falcons will take on San Jose State in the WAC finale on November 2, and then take on Pacific in the season finale, November 5.
Prior to kick off, the Falcons celebrated Alex Rivero for Senior Day. Rivero joined the men's soccer program last spring as a walk on, and due to his exhausting eligibility, he served as a student assistant coach this fall. His impact has spanned from time on the field in training, serving on the team leadership council, as well as mentoring several of the younger cadets within the program.
