
Falcons placed fourth with 4684 points

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team placed fourth for the second straight day in a five-team meet, Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Junior William Steen led the Falcons with a 583 in smallbore. Senior Victoria Leppert and sophomore Bethany Butler each shot a 579 in smallbore. Junior Megan Torrence and Leppert each led the Falcons with a 594 in air rifle.
TCU won the meet with a 4741. Georgia Southern was second (4738), Alaska was third (4718), Air Force was fourth (4684) and Schriner University was fifth (4402).
Air Force returns to action against Army and Navy at the President's Trophy, Saturday, Nov. 1, in Annapolis, Md.
