Air Force Water Polo Splits Games at Gary Troyer Tournament

Air Force men's water polo (14-7) split its two games at the Gary Troyer Tournament Saturday in Orange and Claremont, Calif. the Falcons defeated Chapman 20-9 and fell to #19 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps 21-11.
In the opener against Chapman, the Falcons were all business from the get-go leading 5-1 after the first quarter and 11-3 at the half.
Jack Richards led the Falcons with eight points on five goals and three assists. Senior Colin Chase added four goals. Senior Luca Smith had eight saves in goal for the win.
In a close 9-7 game at the half, CMS out-scored the Falcons 12-4 in the second half.
Richards led the Falcons with four goals. Junior Tom Leggett added three goals and an assist. Senior Jake Dixon had a hat trick with three goals.
