Air Force football meets with media to discuss UConn game

Air Force Head Coach Troy Calhoun, along senior TE Bruin Fleischmann and sophomore DB Roger Jones, Jr. met with the media to discuss the upcoming UConn game.

Air Force and UConn are meeting for the first time. The matchup is one of 17 Group of Five first-time matchups in in college football this season. The Huskies will visit Falcon Stadium, Oct. 31, 2026. This agreement was created after Sam Houston State pulled out of its return trip to Falcon Stadium.

Air Force leads the Mountain West in rushing (269.0), passing efficiency (170.34), yards per completion (18.33), fewest penalties per game (4.44) and fewest penalty yards per game (39.89). Air Force extended the nation's longest active streak of consecutive 100-yard rushing games to 94 with 261 yards vs. San Jose State. No other team in the country has a streak longer than 45 games. Air Force has held three straight opponents to 21 points or less. The Falcons held Wyoming to 21, Army 20 and San Jose State 16.
