Five matches against opponents who comprised the 64-team field of the 2025 DI Women's Tennis Championship headline a stacked spring schedule for the Air Force Women's Tennis team, as the program announced its 2026 dual slate on Monday. Included in the gauntlet are one national runner-up, three conference champions and six opponents who were named to the final ITA national rankings in 2025.
Air Force opens the season with nine matches abroad:
Dual action begins on Jan. 16 in downtown Dallas, taking on SMU in the Mustang's Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex. The Falcons round out a two-stop Texas trip taking on national runner-up and 2024 national champion Texas A&M in College Station on Jan. 18.
Week two of the Falcons' dual season sees Air Force on a short jaunt to Boulder for a continuation of its annual spring series with Colorado on Jan. 25.
Air Force closes out the month of January in Flagstaff, Ariz. with a pair of duals against host Northern Arizona (Jan. 30) and New Mexico State (Jan. 31). The NAU Lumberjacks closed out 2025 at 15-4 and a perfect 8-0 in Big Sky competition.
Feb. 6 sees the Falcons making another standalone in-state journey, as Air Force heads to Denver to take on the 11-time outright Summit League champion Denver Pioneers.
Feb. 14, Air Force makes its return to the USTA National Campus in Orlando, facing Army West Point for College MatchDay. USTA hosts the annual event as a centerpiece of its Military Appreciation Day, which includes a free kid's clinic, family activities, and a pre-match flyover ahead of first serve between the fellow service academies. Army closed out its 2025 season at 24-6 and 8-0 against Patriot League opponents, finishing as runners up in the Patriot League Tournament.
The final stop along Air Force's extended tour takes the Falcons to Norman, Okla. for a Feb. 21 doubleheader against Oklahoma and Arkansas. OU finished the 2025 dual season ranked 10th in the final ITA Division I women's national rankings.
The North Florida Ospreys, for whom both head coach Taylor Hollander and assistant Kinga Gartner played for and graduated from, headlines a five-game home debut for Air Force on Feb. 27. From there, the Falcons open March hosting South Dakota (March 3) and Davidson (March 12), before Mountain West play begins with Nevada (March 13) and UNLV (March 15) at Cadet Gym.
The first of a pair of Mountain West road weekends sees Air Force at San Jose State (March 20) and Fresno State (March 22), before taking on Grand Canyon (March 27) and San Diego State (March 29). GCU, the newest addition to Mountain West membership, enters the league touting three-straight Western Athletic Conference (WAC) titles.
Week four of league duals brings both Wyoming (Apr. 2) and Colorado State (Apr. 4) to the Academy. The following week, Air Force hosts reigning Mountain West tournament champion Boise State on Apr. 10.
Air Force's final regular-season road match will pit the Falcons against Utah State in Logan, Utah (Apr. 12), before returning home for a Senior Day home finale against New Mexico on Apr. 16.
Postseason tennis opens on Apr. 22 with the start of the 2026 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championships, held annually at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas.
