Installation Access for Intercollegiate Athletic Events
Access procedures at the U.S. Air Force Academy continue to affect athletic events. While the installation remains open, anyone without a DoD ID card must obtain a visitor pass to enter the base.

After registering, you will receive a message on our phone to present at the gate when entering the Academy. Fans must also present their game tickets at each venue. All tickets and credentialed attendees can enter through the North or South gate. North gate is recommended for access to athletic fields; while fans are encouraged to use the North and South gates for football games.
In the National Rankings
The Falcons have three wrestlers with numbers in front of their names in the fourth week of NCAA wrestling action. Freshman 197-pounder Karson Tompkins ranks as high as No. 29 in the FloWrestling rankings, down from No. 18 after last weekend's dual meet loss.
Team captain C1C Tucker Owens (125) and C3C Brian Burburija both checked in at No. 33 in the College Wrestling Report rankings.
On the Western Front
Following Friday's dual against the Cowboys, a contingent of Falcon wrestlers will compete at the Roadrunner Open on Sunday, November 23. Tournament actions kicks off at 9 am PT in the Icardo Center.

Air Force downed The Citadel, 23-13, but fell to Gardner-Webb, 20-18, in the annual Throwdown on the Yorktown, Saturday afternoon (Nov. 15) on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown CV-10, docked out of Mt. Pleasant.
Air Force co-team captain Tucker Owens had a solid season debut, taking down 2025 NCAA qualifier Gylon Sims (Citadel) with a commanding 7-0 decision. He won his second match over Gardner-Webb's Tyson Lane by fall (2:25).
Gavin Caprella scored a bonus point win in the 133 division, taking down Teegan Vasquez (Citadel) by major decision, 11-3. At 141, Carter Nogle pinned George Rosas (Citadel) in the final second of the first period.
Senior co-team captain Bryce Shelton had a highlight win, knocking off No. 24 Carson DesRosier (Citadel) with a 7-6 decision.
Sophomore 184-pounder Brian Burburija had a stellar day, posting bonus point wins in both bouts. Burburija was perfect in his 14-0 major decision over Brodie Porter (Citadel). He went on to pin Haydn Danals (GW) in the second period (3:37). Burburija has scored bonus points in each dual appearance so far this season.
