
Baseball Announces 2026 Season Slate

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force baseball has announced its 2026 slate, a 53-game regular season schedule featuring 24 Mountain West contests and 29 non-conference matchups.

The Falcons open the 2026 campaign with their debut at the MLB Classic Desert Invitational, facing Penn State for just the second time in program history, along with Iowa, Kansas State, and Nebraska in Phoenix, Ariz., from Feb. 13–16.
Air Force then heads cross-country for a service-academy showcase in Columbia, S.C., taking on Navy and Army on Feb. 20–21. While in the southeast, the Falcons will meet South Carolina for the first time in program history (Feb. 22) before wrapping the trip against College of Charleston (Feb. 23).
Continuing their early-season road stretch, the Falcons make their way to Dallas, Texas for a neutral-site matchup with Oral Roberts (Feb. 27) followed by a two-game road stand at Dallas Baptist (Feb. 28–Mar. 1). Air Force will play a single game at UT Arlington (Mar. 2) before traveling to Waco for a weekend series at Baylor.
Air Force returns home to Erdle Field for its first Mountain West series of the year, hosting UNLV (Mar. 13–15) and welcoming St. Thomas for a midweek matchup on Mar. 16. The Falcons then hit the road for a league series at Nevada (Mar. 20–22), a rematch with Oral Roberts in Enid, Okla. (Mar. 25), and a three-game set at Tarleton State (Mar. 27–29), marking the first meeting between the schools. March closes with an in-state home contest against Northern Colorado on Mar. 31.
April opens with a conference series at San Diego State (Apr. 2–4) before the Falcons settle in for their longest homestand of the season, six straight games beginning with Northern Colorado on Apr. 8. Air Force then hosts MW opponent Fresno State (Apr. 10–12) and Utah Valley (Apr. 13–14). Another trip to Phoenix follows for a league series at Grand Canyon (Apr. 17–19), ahead of a midweek return to Austin to face Texas. The Falcons then host San Jose State (Apr. 24–26) and travel to Greeley for a third meeting with Northern Colorado on Apr. 28.
May begins with a conference road series at New Mexico (May 1–3) before returning home for Air Force's final home series of the year, hosting Washington State (May 8–10). The regular season wraps with a non-conference trip to Oregon State (May 14–16).
The Mountain West Championship Tournament will take place in Mesa, Ariz., May 21–24.
