
Falcon Divers Complete Day One at Army with Pair of First Place Finishes

WEST POINT, N.Y., - The Falcons closed day one of competition at Army with a pair of top finishers and eight total in the top five across both events, on Friday night at Crandall Pool. Overall, Air Force leads the Black Knights, 176-107.
On the women's side, the Falcons recorded four placements in the top five. Lulu Semakula led and claimed the gold on the 1-meter springboard with a season-high score of 262.58. She was followed in second place by Kacey Hu, scoring 262.43. With a score of 244.95, Chloe Perkins took fourth, while Cayla Jaffe placed fifth after scoring 236.18.
A trio of the men swept the top three on the 3-meter springboard, with Lucas Gerten earning the top spot with a score of 352.05. Taking the silver was Brady Nichol with a score of 323.48. Freshman Vann Hotchkiss scored 291.45 to place third, while Tyler Tolerico rounded out the top five, scoring 266.70.
Action will pick back up at 1 p.m. ET/11 a.m. MT on Saturday November 8 in West Point.
