Elise Bell Earns Win on Opening Night of WAC Main Event

SEATTLE – Elise Bell picked up a 132-pound victory on Friday (Jan. 31) night, as three members of the Air Force boxing team opened competition at the prestigious WAC Main Event in Seattle. The junior claimed a victory over Sionet Dickerson from host Washington to lead the Falcons on a 1-2 night.
Two sophomores also competed at the Washington Athletic Club on Friday, as Connor Herford lose the heavyweight decision to Navy's Ahmed Kasdallah and Noah Gilley fell in his 156-pound bout with Justin Zhou of USC.
The Falcons wrap up action at the WAC Main Event tomorrow (Feb. 1) night.
