
Air Force Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-American Team Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., - The Air Force men's and women's swimming and diving teams were honored as College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) 2024 Fall Scholar All-American programs, as released by CSCAA officials on Monday morning.
To remain in contention for this prestigious recognition, teams must have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, commented on the impressive accomplishments, saying, "The commitment to academic excellence demonstrated by these teams is truly admirable. It is inspiring to see student-athletes excel both in the pool and in the classroom. The CSCAA takes great pride in honoring and celebrating their dedication and achievements."
The Air Force men's swimming and diving team earned a 3.23 team GPA to surpass the CSCAA threshold, with 32 participants.
Falcons women's swimming and diving exceeded the CSCAA standard, as well, producing a collective GPA of 3.20 among 42 participants.
"Our team works so hard across all three pillars of the Academy (academics, military, and athletics)," head women's swimming and diving coach, Colleen Murphy, expressed. "We are constantly impressed by their ability to do it all at the Academy, their dedication and perseverance is unmatched. We are so proud of their commitment to their studies and this award."
