COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following a program-defining victory last weekend, a trio of Air Force women's gymnasts were named to the weekly Mountain West honors list, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Sophomore Maggie Slife, the reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Year and three-time, undisputed conference Gymnast of the Week in 2025, was named to the award for the fourth-consecutive week.
Slife was additionally named as Vault Specialist of the Week by the Mountain West; Air Force continues to showcase its progress on vault this season, as the Falcons scored a 49.075 on Jan. 31, resetting the all-time high score while notching just its second-ever 49-or-better finish. Slife's vault specialist honor marks the program's third in four weeks.
Freshman pair Alyssa Bigler and Anna Bacott were both named MW Co-Freshmen of the Week after both landing a 9.875 on vault and balance beam, respectively.
The awards represent Slife's ninth Gymnast of the Week honor of her career and her fourth consecutive this season (the only MW gymnast to earn the award so far); Bigler earns her fourth weekly superlative and third vault specialist award; Bacott earns the first conference honor of her career.
Air Force Women's Gymnastics is back in Cadet West Gym on Sunday, Feb. 9, hosting Boise State and Greenville on Senior Day.
