
Women’s Gymnastics Welcomes Sharon Kelly as Assistant Coach

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Sharon Kelly was named Assistant Coach for Air Force Women's Gymnastics, head coach Jennifer Green announced on Friday.
"I am thrilled to welcome Sharon to our program," Green said. "Her extensive experience as both a coach and a judge brings a unique, well-rounded perspective to our team. She understands the sport from every angle—technical knowledge, athlete development, and competitive strategy—which will be invaluable as we continue to elevate our program. With her passion for athlete success, positive approach and steadfast commitment to excellence, Sharon will make a lasting impact on our program."
Kelly, a 20-year professional in the sport, provides a depth of experience for the Falcon program, bringing 16 years of judging experience at the collegiate level. Kelly currently serves as Education Chairman for Georgia USA Gymnastics and is acting Event Director for Georgia National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges (NAWGJ).
In 2005, Kelly founded Ultimate Gymnastics, a Level 10/Elite developmental program in Duluth, Georgia. In her 17 years of operating Ultimate, Kelly and her staff planned, managed and operated large-scale training camps and competitions including state and regional championships hosting over 2000 athletes. Under Kelly's leadership, Ultimate Gymnastics has proved a launching point for a number of future NCAA and Junior Olympic competitors.
Over the past year, Kelly served as a consulting coach for Green and the Air Force program, providing external guidance in fine-tuning both coaches and performers' approach to competition.
