
Maggie Slife to Represent USAFA in 2026 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships

Air Force junior gymnast Maggie Slife is set for competition as one of four individually-qualifying all-arounders in the 2026 NC Women's Gymnastics Championships. Slife will compete in Session II of the national semifinal round on Thursday, rotating with the defending national champion Oklahoma Sooners. Competition is set for 7 p.m. MT at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

National Championship Format:
The women's gymnastics championships consists of eight teams, as well as four all-around competitors and 16 event specialists who were not members of a qualifying team. The top two teams from each of the four regionals have advanced to the national championships. In addition, the top all-around competitor and the top finisher on each event from each regional have also advanced to the national championships.
Scoring a 39.550 as an all-around gymnast in the semifinals of the Baton Rouge Regional on Apr. 2, Slife tied the fourth-best all-around score in Air Force history while also notching the program's first-ever national title bid. Her score ended as the top all around finish at the Baton Rouge regional of gymnasts not on advancing teams, securing the Falcons' first ever bid into the title bracket.
