Falcons Wrap Up Regular Season at Lane Mills Memorial

RENO – The Air Force boxing team picked up two victories at the Lane Mills Memorial last night (Feb. 7), as sophomore San Banduah and junior Malaika Ndifang received decisions during a hard-hitting night in Reno.
Banduah opened the night with a 147-pound decision over Conner Suan of UC Davis, while Ndifang – in her first meet of the year – decisioned California's Michell Diaz-Flores for a 173-pound victory.
Overall, seven Falcons stepped into the ring at the Memorial. Senior Luke Kohout (147 pounds, Joe Azar), freshman Jaydan Douglas (153 pounds, Billy Fisher) and sophomore Justin Bonilla (190 pounds, Leif Nordan) fell to contenders for host Nevada, while freshman Davin McArty was decisioned in his 139-pound bout with Washington's Julian Routos.
The Falcons return to action next week, when they open the Wing Open tournament on Feb. 13.
