BANDON, Ore. – Junior Eric Liveringhouse and sophomore Carson Baker led the Air Force golf team on the final day of the Bandon Dunes Championship, Tuesday, March 11, on the Trails Course in Bandon, Ore.
Liveringhouse and Baker each shot a 76 (+5) on the final day. Baker made one birdie and 12 pars while Liveringhouse made 12 pars on the day. Senior Cameron Kahle and sophomore Eli Huntington each shot 77 while Brooke Morrell shot 79 and freshman Jackson Scaletta, competing as an individual, shot 82.
Kahle placed 38th overall with a 226 (+13), followed by Morrell (235), Baker (236), Liveringhouse and Huntington (241) and Scaletta (252).
Oregon, ranked 36th in the nation, won the tournament with an 848 (+4). Utah Valley was second (863), Boise State and North Dakota tied for third at (870). Air Force was 15th at 922.
Air Force returns to action March 23-25 at the UC-San Diego Invitational at Torrey Pines Golf Club in La Jolla, Calif.
