Air Force Places Eight On All-MPSF Fencing Team

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The Air Force fencing program placed eight cadet-athletes on the 2025 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-MPSF Fencing Team, announced today by the conference office.
Omar Emara, Ellie Kim and Christina Watrall earned first-team honors. Emara was the MPSF men's epee champion and Watrall was the women's epee champion. Kim was the runner-up in women's epee.
Earning second-team honors were William Barber (men's saber), Madi Converse (women's foil), George Gasparovich IV (men's epee), Jack Griffith (men's foil) and Mira Vestel (women's saber).
Student-athletes who reached the individual championship bouts at the MPSF Championships (Mar. 9) were named to the first team. Those who reached the MPSF Individual Semifinals shared third-place and were named to the second team.
Air Force returns to action at the NCAA Championships, March 20-23 in University Park, Pa., with Penn State as the host institution. Emara, Kim and Watrall qualified for the NCAAs and will represent Air Force in Pennsylvania.
