
Bigler, Slife Tabbed to All-Mountain West Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The youth movement within the Air Force Women's Gymnastics program continues to bear fruit, as two Falcon gymnasts were named to six Mountain West All-Conference postseason honors, the league office announced on Thursday.
Air Force's go-to all-arounders, freshman Alyssa Bigler, along with sophomore Maggie Slife, were both named as first-team all around honorees, while Slife additionally earned first-team recognition on vault and floor exercise, along with a second-team nod to the All-MW bars team.
All-conference performers were determined by the final National Qualifying Score going into the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Gymnastics Championship. Gymnasts that were ranked first through third were awarded first team, while gymnasts that ranked fourth through sixth were awarded second team.
The floor first and second teams both contain four student-athletes due to ties in the NQS rankings.
Bigler and Slife represent two of the top three highest-ranked gymnasts in the Mountain West for 2025, with Slife holding the top National Qualifying Score (NQS) in the league this year (39.325).
Slife, at 15 total weekly conference honors in 2025, Slife stands as the most consistent top scorer across the conference on a week-by-week basis and most decorated gymnast in the Mountain West this season in terms of weekly awards. The sophomore was a nine-time Mountain West Gymnast of the Week in 2025, proving the top all-arounder in the conference nine weeks out of 10. Slife closed nine of 10 meets in 2025 the all-around champ and scored 9.900 or better four times, posting season highs of 9.900 (vault), 9.925 (bars), 9.875 (beam) and 9.925 (floor).
Ranked 72nd in the nation, Bigler stands as the No. 3-ranked gymnast and top-ranked freshman in the Mountain West. In her inaugural season at Air Force, In 2025, Bigler was a two-time MW Vault Specialist of the Week, scoring a 9.825 in her career debut (Jan. 10) and a 9.925 on Jan 24, earning the season high score on vault across the Mountain West this season. Bigler's 38.600 earns her the second-best all-around NQS in the Mountain West this year behind teammate Slife.
Mountain West Gymnast of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Specialists of the Year and Coach of the Year honors will be announced on Friday.
