Baker leads Falcons in second round at Torrey Pines

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Sophomore Carson Baker led the Air Force golf team on the second day of the UC San Diego Invitational, Monday, March 24, at Torrey Pines Golf Club in La Jolla, Calif.
Baker shot a 76 (+4) in the second round, making two birdies. He is tied for 42nd overall at 154. Senior Cameron Kahle and junior Brooks Morrell each shot 77 (+5) in the second round, while sophomore Eli Huntington shot 79 and junior Eric Liveringhouse shot 85. Morrell is second on the team after 36 holes at 155, followed by Huntington (156), Kahle (157) and Liveringhouse (166).
Sacramento State leads the tournament at 593 (+17), while Arkansas State is second at 598 (+22) and Utah State at 599. Air Force is in 16th place with a 36-hole score of 622 (+46).
The final round of the UCSD Invitational begins at 7 am PT on Tuesday, March 25, at Torrey Pines.
