Kahle leads Falcons on opening day in Oregon

BANDON, Ore. – Air Force senior Cameron Kahle led the Falcons in the first round of the Bandon Dunes Championship, Sunday, March 9, at the Bandon Dunes Trails Course.
Kahle shot a three-over 74 in the first round. He birdied two of his first eight holes and then parred his final five. Junior Brooks Morrell made three birdies and shot a 76 (+5). Sophomore Carson Baker shot 79 (+8), followed by Eli Huntington and Eric Liveringhouse at 84 and freshman Jackson Scaletta (85) .
Oregon, ranked 36th in the nation, leads the field with a 291 (+7). Boise State is second (296) and Utah Valley is third (299). Air Force is 14th at 313,
The second round begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 am PT on Monday, March 10.
