
Men's Swimming Trio Recognized on CSC Academic All-District Team®

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - Air Force men's swimming saw three Falcons, Louie Body, Tucker Rice, and Bridon Rosales named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team®, as released by CSC officials.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Swimming & Diving teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Honorees needed to be at least a sophomore in the classroom and athletically, carry a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and either compete in at least five competitions during the regular season or place among the top eight in an event at the conference championship.
Louie Body is a junior majoring in French and earned this distinction for the first time in his career. The Jacksonville, Fla., native was also named the Academy's Athletic Director's List and the Commandant's List, while being recognized as Western Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference for his efforts in the pool. During the regular season, Body totaled four top five finishes and took first place in the 200 backstroke (1:54.01) against Mines, Northern Colorado, and UTRGV. At the WAC Championships, he notched a podium finish in third for a personal best time, an NCAA B Standard, and second all-time at the Academy in the 200 backstroke (1:43.98). Rosales also recorded an eighth-place finish in the 100 backstroke (48.41) to sit at ninth all-time for Air Force.
Sophomore, Tucker Rice is recognized by CSC in his first year of eligibility for the award. Additionally, the Aeronautical Engineering major earned Academy distinctions on the Athletic Director's List and the Dean's List. Rice recorded 12 top five finishes during the regular season, with a pair of top placements in the 1000 freestyle against UNO and Liberty (10:00.02) as well as Colorado State, New Mexico, and Seattle U (9:49.15). At the WAC Championships, the Billings, Mont., native claimed fifth place in the 1650 freestyle (15:19.06) for an NCAA B Standard, a personal best, and seventh all-time for Air Force. Rice also took ninth in the 500 freestyle with a personal best time of 4:24.00 to earn WAC Second Team All-Conference.
Bridon Rosales closes out the Falcon swimmers honored by CSC and is majoring in Aeronautical Engineering with a minor in Airpower Studies. The junior earned distinctions on the Academy's Athletic Director's List and the Dean's List for his efforts in the pool and the classroom. Across the regular season, the Norfolk, Va., native claimed six first place finishes in the 100 breaststroke, as well as 18 top five individual placements. At the WAC Championships, Rosales finished in sixth place for an NCAA B Standard and a personal best in the 100 breaststroke (53.35), ranking sixth all-time for Air Force. Additionally, he also placed seventh in the 200 breaststroke (1:58.58) and was named WAC Second Team All-Conference. Rosales sits at eighth all-time in the 200 breaststroke (1:57.80) for the Falcons.
