
Pair of Falcons earn CRCA Scholastic All-America honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force's Scott Rockett and Megan Torrence were named to the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association Scholastic All-America team.
The honor is the first of each's career. They are the first CRCA Scholastic All-Americans for the Falcons since 2022 and the 29th and 30th in school history.
Rockett, a 2025 graduate from Cary, N.C., was a quantitative economics major who is headed to pilot training. A five-time All-American, he recorded season highs of 595 in air rifle, 591 in smallbore and 1184 aggregate as a senior.
Torrence, a rising junior from Calhan, CO, is a management major. As a sophomore, she set new career highs with a 595 in air rifle, 582 in smallbore and 1174 in aggregate.
To qualify for CRCA Scholastic All-America honors, student-athletes must achieve a minimum 3.20 grade-point average for the 2024-25 academic year.
In 2024-25, the pair helped lead the Falcons to their 11th straight President's Trophy (defeating Army and Navy), the 11th straight trip to the NCAA Rifle Championships and a seventh-place finish at the national meet.
