
Air Force Men’s Basketball Announces 2025 Program Awards

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's basketball announced its team award winners for the 2024-25 season. Senior Ethan Taylor earned the Bob Beckel Most Valuable Player honor.
Taylor capped a historic four-year career with a standout senior season that saw him earned All-Mountain West honors. As one of the top distance shooters in the nation, Taylor led the Mountain West with 98 three's, which also ranked second-most in a season at Air Force. His 54 three's set a MW season record at Air Force. He also led the team in scoring, averaging 13.9 points per game. Taylor also led the MW in minutes per game for the second-straight season, averaging 36.5 minutes per game. Taylor caps a standout four-year career at the Academy, ranking first in career games started with 121 and is 10th all-time in scoring with 1,324 career points. He is the only player in Academy history to surpass 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 300 assists.
Senior forward Beau Becker earned the Cliff Parsons Award for the member of the Falcon basketball team that gives his best every day, in every way. Becker appeared in 18 games for the Falcons, scoring 76 points and making 10 three's. Becker missed 14 games due to a high ankle sprain suffered in the season-opener against North Alabama. As a junior in 2023-24, Becker ranked second on the team in scoring, averaging 13.8 points per game. He was also second on the team with 74 three's. This is Becker's second Parsons Award.
Senior guard/forward Chase Beasley earned the Bob Spear Award for the member of the Falcon basketball team that demonstrates high achievement in basketball performance, academics and military performance. It is considered one of the highest honors a player can earn. Beasley was a bright spot late in the season for the Falcons. Inserted into the starting lineup against Fresno State, Beasley played a key part in Air Force's first conference win of the season over the Bulldogs. He ended the season by starting the final six games of the season for the Falcons, averaging 3.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists.
