
Huntington Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force rising junior golfer Eli Huntington was named to the 2025 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar team for his excellence on the course and in the classroom.
Huntington, a systems engineering major with a 3.26 GPA, played all 32 rounds for the Falcons last season and led the team with a 74.16 season stroke average. He led the team with 11 rounds at par or better and was the top Falcon in seven of the 10 tournaments. At one point, he had five straight rounds at par or better and seven of eight in the fall, including a career-best 67 (-5) in the third round of the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
Huntington is the ninth Falcon to earn the honor and the first since Alvaro Fonseca last season.
