Air Force announces 2025-26 Rifle Schedule

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team will open the 2025-26 season by hosting UTEP, Saturday, Oct. 11, at the USAFA Rifle Range. The Falcons will be at home for three of the first six events.

Air Force will defend its President's Trophy title, Saturday, Nov. 1, by taking on fellow service academies Army and Navy in Annapolis, Md. The Falcons will then meet Army in a dual match on Nov. 2 in Fairfax, Va.

Air Force will compete in the Patriot Rifle Championships, Feb. 7-8, in Oxford, Miss., with the NCAA Championships being held March 13-14 in Columbus, Ohio.

Last season, Air Force placed seventh at the NCAA Rifle Championships, recording the team's third highest score at the national meet in school history. Under head coach Launi Meili, an Olympic gold medalist in her 18^th season, the Falcons have qualified for the NCAA Championships 11 straight seasons. The Falcons earned their 11^th straight President's Trophy last season by defeating Army and Navy, with a President's Trophy record aggregate of 5890.
