A LOOK AT THE ROCKERS
South Dakota Mines is 1-0-1 through two regular season matches this season. They played at Colorado Christian last Thursday and earned a 1-1 draw. They followed that up with a dominant 4-1 win over Jamestown last Saturday. Parker Yocom scored two goals in that match, less than three minutes apart from each other.
Nickolas North and Yocom both have two goals this season for South Dakota Mines. North, Lucas Cardona, Even Henriksen and Kaulden Hood all have one assist so far. In the net, Abdo Salem Abdullah has allowed two goals with four saves in his two matches.
The meeting on Sunday will mark the first contest between the two programs.

For the second-straight match, AF outshot their opponent. Despite being significantly outshot by opponents in the early season (18-61 in the first three matches), Air Force has averaged 11.3 shots in the last the contests, testament to the steady improvement of the young team under coach Dalby and staff.
LAST TIME OUT
The Falcon men's soccer team got back in the win column for the first time in 11 appearances dating back October of last year. Air Force battled back from an early deficit to knock down Mercer, 2-1, Thursday evening at Cadet Soccer Stadium. Air Force players, behind first-year head coach Grag Dalby, landed their first career win at the Academy. Freshmen Oliver Wagner and Sean Odle tallied their first collegiate goals in the win.
NEXT UP
The Falcons fly East to close out the non-conference schedule against Penn and Navy, September 20 and 23, respectively. Action is scheduled for 7pm ET for both matches. AF has played Penn just once before, falling 2-1, in 2012. The last time AF met with Navy, the Falcons downed the Midshipmen, 2-0, in Annapolis.
