Air Force Men’s Tennis Completes Day Two at Reno Invite

Air Force men's tennis opened completed day two competition at the Reno Invite Saturday at the McArthur Tennis Center on the University of Nevada campus in Reno, Nevada.
The Falcons picked up six wins on the day, three in singles and three in doubles.
In doubles, AJ Moore and Alec Fritzinger defeated Cheam/Taheri of UC Davis 8-3. Tyler Leaird and Jack Brown defeated Recoura/Cressi of Nevada 8-6. Alec Fritzinger and Caden Lee defeated Miller/Vidyuth of UC Davis 8-7 (4).
In singles, Brown defeated Nadual Cheam of UCD in straight sets 6-2, 7-5. Matthew Staton defeated Ivan Savkin of UCD 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Fritzinger defeated Nicolas Recoura of Nevada in straight sets 7-5, 7-5.
"I'm super proud of how we finished today," head coach Evan Urbina said. "That was a point of emphasis from yesterday. Jack has been leading the way with solid singles and doubles performances. He's been focused and resilient every time he steps on the court. Caden and Alec had a great win in a breaker for the last match of the day. Caden had a huge smile after they won that was well earned for his first college win. He's put in a ton of work to get to this point. Looking forward to finishing strong tomorrow.
Day three of the three-day event resumes tomorrow, Sunday.
