Liveringhouse led Falcons on final day of Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Senior Eric Liveringhouse led the Air Force golf team at the 56th Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, Monday, Sept. 22, at Eisenhower, Golf Course.
Liveringhouse shot a 73 (+1) in the final round on the Blue Course, and was the top Falcon over 54 holes at 217 (+1). Junior Eli Huntington was second on the team at 220 (+4), followed by junior Carson Baker (221), senior Ted Davenport (229) and senior Brooks Morrell (235).
Idaho won the team title with an 841 (-23). Gonzaga was second (851) and UC San Diego was third (852). Air Force was 21st at 887.
Northern Colorado's Kaelen Dulany was the top individual at 202 (-14), just one shy of the tournament record. Dulany shot 70-68-64. Nevada's Oak Seelangae was second at 205. San Jose State's Avinash Iyer shot the best round of the tournament in the final round, 63 (-9), just one shy of the tournament and course record.
In the GMFI Individual event on the Silver Course, UC Davis' Louis Grizot won with a 54-hole score of 206 (-10). Air Force freshman Ben Zeiler was the top Falcon, tying for 13th overall, with a 214 (-2). Zeiler shot 73-68-73. Senior Alvaro Fonseca shot 217 (+1), followed by Jackson Scaletta (225), Aaron Baker (227) and Lincoln Blake (244).
Air Force returns to action at the third annual Commander-in-Chief's Cup against Army and Navy, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, at Winged Foot Golf Course in Mamaroneck, N.Y.
