This Week: Air Force travels to El Paso, Texas, for a dual meet against the UTEP Miners, Saturday, Jan. 24, at 8 am MT. Live scoring will be available at MegaLink.
The Rankings: Air Force's team aggregate average of 4692.3 is 12th in the nation. The Falcons rank 12th in air rifle (2371.4). UTEP is ranked 11th in aggregate at 4700.572
Top Falcons: Senior team captain Victoria Leppert leads the team with an aggregate average of 1173.60. Freshman Prisha Thomas is second on the team at 1173.45, followed by freshman Lily Miller at 1166.50. Leppert leads the team with smallbore average of 582.40 while Thomas is second on the team at 581.556. In air rifle, Lily Wytko leads the team with an average of 595.143 and Megan Torrence is second at 593.90.
Last Time vs. UTEP: Air Force opened the season with a 4690-4689 win over UTEP in a dual meet Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Cadet Rifle Range. Senior team captain Victoria Leppert led the Falcons with an aggregate score of 1178, followed by freshman Prisha Thomas (1175) and freshman Lily Miller (1170The Falcons claimed four of the top five spots in smallbore with Leppert (583), Thomas (583), Miller (581) and Bethany Butler (581). The Falcons took two of the top three in air rifle with Leppert (595) and Megan Torrence (594).

Miller placed third overall in aggregate score. The next day, the Falcons placed second at a quad meet hosted by Georgia Southern, Sunday, Jan. 18, in Statesboro, Ga. Georgia Southern, ranked second in the nation, won the meet with a 4729. Air Force was second with a 4685, followed by The Citadel men (4559) and The Citadel women (4444). Falcon freshman Prisha Thomas led Air Force with a fourth-place finish in aggregate with an 1176. Junior Megan Torrence was fifth overall at 1175 and senior Victoria Leppert was eighth at 1169.
Looking Ahead: After the UTEP dual, Air Force will compete in the Patriot Rifle Conference Championships, Feb. 7-8, in Oxford, Miss.
