Bigler, Slife Named Mountain West Co-Gymnasts of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Force Women's Gymnastics kept a tight grip over weekly Mountain West accolades, as the conference announced junior Maggie Slife and sophomore Alyssa Bigler as Co-Gymnasts of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
In Air Force's 195.225 win over Boise State, Eastern Michigan and Kent State (Jan. 23), Both Slife and Bigler closed the evening scoring a league high 39.250, leading Air Force to a 6-1 start in 2026.
Bigler's marquis performance last Friday was topped by earning a 9.925 on balance beam - good both for a league-best finish while tying the all-time balance beam score by a Falcon (Analise Howard, 2018). Bigler's performance anchored Air Force in the event, leading the Falcons in a season-best 48.850 outing.
Slife put together another stellar all-around performance, going 9.800 or higher in three events including a 9.900 finish on bars – Good for top specialist honors after the Falcons' third week of competition in 2026.
Air Force Gymnastics' collection of Mountain West honors on Tuesday brings the season total to 15. The Falcons have held Gymnast of the Week honors in all three weeks to open the season.
