Seven Falcons Named To All-MPSF Fencing Team

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force fencing placed seven cadet-athletes on the 2026 All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation teams, announced today by the conference office. The Falcons had three first-team honorees and four on the second team.
Student-athletes who reached the individual championship bouts at the MPSF Championships (Mar. 10) were named to the first team. Those who reached the MPSF Individual Semifinals shared third-place and were named to the second team.
Junior Christina Watrall, senior Jack Griffith and freshman Andrei Nazlymov were named to the first team. Watrall was the women's epee champion for the second-straight season. Nazlymov was the men's saber champion and Griffith was the runner-up in men's foil. It was the fourth-career All-MPSF honor for Griffith and the third for Watrall.
Seniors Ellie Kim and Mira Vestel and freshmen Byung Kim and Richard Li earned second-team honors. Ellie Kim earned her second All-MPSF honor in women's foil and Vestel picked up her third-career honor in women's saber. Byung Kim earned All-MPSF in men's epee and Li in men's foil.
Up next is the NCAA Fencing Championships, held March 19-22 on the campus of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. Qualifiers will be announced by the NCAA this Tuesday, Mar. 10.
