
Wyatt Hanoian Named Perfect Game Freshman All-American

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - Wyatt Hanoian adds another postseason honor to his resume, as he was selected as a 2026 Perfect Game Freshman Second Team All-American, as released by officials on Thursday morning.
Hanoian capped off one of the most impressive freshman seasons in recent Air Force history by also earning Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors. He became the program's first recipient of the award since Paul Skenes in 2021 and just the third Falcon ever to receive the distinction. Hanoian was additionally named to the All-Mountain West First Team.
The Costa Mesa, California, native quickly established himself as a fixture in the Falcons' lineup, starting all 53 games in which he appeared during the 55-game season. Hanoian led Air Force with a .357 batting average while totaling 49 runs scored, 66 hits and 49 RBIs. He also paced the team with a .498 on-base percentage, aided by a program-record 24 hit-by-pitches.
Hanoian's consistency at the plate was a driving force behind the Falcons' success throughout the season. He posted a team-best 33-game on-base streak while recording 22 multi-hit games and 15 multi-RBI performances. Defensively, the second baseman compiled a .969 fielding percentage, adding 110 assists and turning 21 double plays.
