Men Finish 13th in USTFCCCA Program of the Year Standings

NEW ORLEANS – The Air Force men claimed a program-best No. 13 placement in the final edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Program of the Year standings, which was released this afternoon (June 16) at the conclusion of the 2025-26 competition year.
Based on the performances of the cross country team (20th at the 2025 NCAA Championships) and the Texas Tanner (39th in the team standings at the NCAA Indoor Championships, 19th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2026), the men totaled 79.5 points to finish 13th in the USTFCCCA John McDonnell Men's Program of the Year standings.
The Falcons were one of just 17 teams in the NCAA that scored in all three championship meets.
The USTFCCCA Program of the Year awards recognize the institutions that have achieved success at the three NCAA Championship meets (cross country, indoor track and field, outdoor track and field) during each academic year, with rankings based on the institution's finish at each championship (first place = 1 point, fifth place = 5 points, 10th place = 10 points, etc.) and the lowest total combined score for all three meets determining the award winner.
It is the second time that the men have been mentioned in the final Program of the Year standings, as the team was ranked No. 15 (129 points) at the conclusion of the of the 2018-19 season.
