USAF ACADEMY – Head men's soccer coach Greg Dalby has finalized the 2026 competition schedule, announced Friday by Air Force Athletics. Dalby, in his second season at the helm of the program, will guide the Falcons into their inaugural year with the newly minted Mountain West Men's Soccer Conference.
The MW is the first NCAA Division I conference to add men's soccer since the Ohio Valley Conference in 2023 and the Sun Belt Conference's reinstatement in 2022. The first-ever MW men's soccer lineup features Air Force, Grand Canyon, San José State, UC Davis, UNLV and Utah Tech.
The Falcons get their first taste of action with preseason exhibitions at Denver, August 8, and hosting a double-header with Regis and Metro State Denver, August 14.
Air Force will take the fight to service academy rival Army West Point for the regular season opener on August 20. The Falcons will travel North and skip across the Hudson River to take on Marist in Poughkeepsie, August 23.
Air Force will host seven matches at Cadet Soccer Stadium, welcoming in UC San Diego for the home opener on August 30. UC Riverside (Sep. 11) and UTRGV (Sep. 18) will round out the non-conference visitors.
League play kicks off on Saturday, September 26, with Utah Tech coming to USAFA. UNLV (Oct. 4), UC Davis (Oct. 18), San Jose State (Oct. 24), and Grand Canyon for Senior Night (Nov. 6), rounds out the visiting schedule.
Other non-conference opponents on the road include San Francisco (Sep. 4) and St. Mary's (Sep. 7).
The Falcons will play each MW opponent twice before concluding with the 2026 Mountain West Men's Soccer Championship Nov. 8-14.
All home MW men's soccer matches will be broadcast on the new Mountain West subscription platform, including the Conference tournament.
