NEW ORLEANS – The Air Force track and field program saw 10 individuals and both teams earn All-Academic distinction from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this afternoon (July 20), as the USTFCCCA honored athletes and teams from around the country for their work in the classroom and on the competition field during the 2025-26 indoor and outdoor season.
Recent USAFA graduate India Jones was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team for the third consecutive year, while classmates Zach Ayers and Max Sannes claimed their second-straight honor. Seven other Falcons claimed All-Academic honors for the first time, including Julie Segroves, who earned her first All-Academic award as a freshman and the contingent of Kayla Beach, Ryan Hajek, Anna Harden, Ella Johnson, Dominykas Remeikis, and Tanner Woodring, who all secured their selection to the All-Academic Team following their junior season.
The men and women also claimed All-Academic Team honors from the USTFCCCA, as the association recognized programs that maintained a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.00 or higher, based on a USTFCCCA formula. The women, who completed the 2025-26 academic year with a 3.06 GPA, have been named an All-Academic Team for eight-straight years, while the men captured their fourth team honor with a combined GPA of 3.07.
The list of USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes are determined by both academic and athletic achievement during the track and field season. To qualify, the student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and have met at least one of the following athletic standards: for the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 of an individual event or as a member of a relay that was ranked in the top 48 on the official NCAA POP list; for the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships.
