Baker and Huntington earn All-America Scholar honors

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force rising seniors Carson Baker and Eli Huntington were named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA).
Baker is a management major who played in all 33 rounds during the 2025-26 season. He was third on the team with a season stroke average of 75.03, a career best, and had eighth rounds at par or better, tied for the best on the team.
Huntington, a systems engineering major, was named the team MVP as he played in all 33 rounds and led the team with a 74.70 season stroke average. He tied for the team lead with eight rounds at or under par and was the top Falcon in four of the 11 tournaments during the 2025-26 season.
Huntington earned the honor for the second straight season, making him just the third Falcon in school history to earn the All-America Scholar honor twice. Baker becomes the 10th Falcon in school history to earn the honor. It marks just the second time in school history two Falcons have been honored in the same season, joining Charlie Wahl and Jason Vitas in 1992-93.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
Air Force opens the 2026-27 season at the Folds of Honor Tournament, Sept. 7-9, at the American Dunes Golf Course in Grand Haven, Mich. The Falcons will host the annual Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, Sept. 19-20, at the Eisenhower Golf Course.
