Air Force MBB Announces 2026-27 Non-Conference Schedule

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's basketball released its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season, announced today by first-year head coach Joe Crispin. The 14-game slate features eight home games at Clune Arena, including showdowns against Service Academy rival Navy and local opponent Denver.
The Crispin era opens Nov. 2 at Wright State in Dayton, Ohio. The Falcons last played the Raiders two seasons ago.
The Falcons open the home slate with three straight games, beginning Nov. 5 with the first-ever meeting against Calumet (IN). Air Force also hosts Idaho State on Nov. 8 and Loyola Chicago on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11. Air Force plays Idaho State for the first time since 2021 and Loyola Chicago for the eighth time ever and first since 1981.
The Falcons play their next three on the road, beginning Nov. 15 with a return game at Pacific. Air Force then plays two games in San Antonio, Texas, playing at UTSA on Nov. 21 and a neutral-site game against Army on Nov. 24. Both the UTSA and Army game will be played at the Convocation Center in San Antonio. It is Air Force's first game against Army since the 2001-22 season. The Falcons face UTSA for the first time.
Air Force returns home for another three-game homestand, beginning Nov. 28, hosting Brown for its first game against an Ivy League opponent since Dartmouth in 2007 and the first meeting with the Bears since 1984. The Falcons then play I-25 rival Denver on Dec. 1. The Falcons face DU for the first time in a regular season game since 2021. The homestand concludes Dec. 6 vs. Navy. It is Navy's first trip to Clune since 2005. Air Force plays both Army and Navy in the same season for just the third-time ever and the first since 1985.
A return game, Dec. 10, takes the Falcons to Austin Peay. It is Air Force's first-ever trip to Clarksville, Tenn. and just the third meeting between the two teams.
The Falcons return home for its final two home non-conference games, hosting Alabama State on Dec. 18 and Eastern Kentucky on Dec. 21. The Falcons defeated Alabama State at home last season and face Eastern Kentucky for the first time ever.
Air Force's final non-conference game is Dec. 29 at Utah. The Falcons face the Utes and play in the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City for the first time since 2011. Air Force has played Utah 63 times as former conference affiliates in the Mountain West (1999-2011) and Western Athletic Conference (1980-99).
The Mountain West schedule will be announced in the near future.
