Air Force Continues Commander-in-Chief’s Challenge Against Georgetown

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Air Force women's tennis continued action at the Commander-in-Chief's Challenge on Saturday, taking on Georgetown in singles and doubles competition.
The Falcons picked up four singles victories against the Hoyas. Yule Kang led off with a 6-2, 6-0 straight-set win, while Kate Craver earned a 7-5, 6-4 victory. Sofi Garcia also cruised to a straight-set win, 6-0, 6-2.
Maya Michalski battled back after dropping the opening set 4-6, taking the second 6-4 before earning a 10-8 victory in the deciding 10-point tiebreaker. Nadia Kojonroj fell 3-6, 6-7 (1-7), while Stephanie Marcheret split her first two sets before falling in the deciding tiebreaker, 6-7 (6-8), 6-1, 6-10.
Air Force swept all three doubles matches against Georgetown. Kang and Craver earned a 6-2 victory, while Marcheret and Michalski picked up a 6-1 win. Shivaani Selvan and Tia Christopulos completed the doubles sweep with a 6-1 victory.
The Falcons close out the Commander-in-Chief's Challenge on Sunday against Army.
