
Falcons Close Out Commander-in-Chief’s Challenge Against Army

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Air Force women's tennis closed out competition at the Commander-in-Chief's Challenge on Sunday with singles and doubles action against Army.
The Falcons picked up three singles victories on the final day of competition. Nadia Kojonroj earned a 6-3, 6-4 straight-set win, while Sofi Garcia cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
Kate Craver battled back after dropping the opening set 1-6, taking the second 6-4 before earning a 10-3 victory in the deciding 10-point tiebreaker.
Stephanie Marcheret fell 5-7, 2-6, while Tana Christopulos dropped her match 2-6, 5-7. Tia Christopulos responded from a 2-6 opening-set loss to take the second set 6-2 before falling 7-10 in the deciding 10-point tiebreaker.
In doubles action, Stephanie Marcheret and Craver fell 0-6, while Jariahlyn Rhoades and Tia Christopulos dropped their match 4-6. Tana Christopulos and Garcia also fell by a 4-6 decision.
The Falcons conclude the Commander-in-Chief's Challenge after three days of competition against Navy, Georgetown and Army.
