Eli Huntington finished 24th at Stephens Cup

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force senior Eli Huntington finished 24th at the sixth annual the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, Sept. 14-15, at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco in Frisco, Texas.
Huntington 24th place finish is the best ever by a Falcon. The team captain from Camas, Wash., came in at 226 (+10), shooting 74-75-77 on par-72, 7,482-yard PGA course. His score is the third best by a Falcon at the Stephens Cup at Isaac Layne shot 221 (+5) in 2022 at the Seminole Club in Juno Beach, Fla., and Brooks Morrell shot 217 (+7, par 70) in 2025 at the Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, Ill.
After an opening round 74 with 15 pars, Huntington shot 75 in the second round with a pair of birdies. In the final round, Tuesday, Sept. 15, he shot a 77 with two more birdies.
Huntington was the highest finisher among all service academy players. Army's Andre Chang shot 230 and Navy's Danny Auffant shot 237.
The Air Force golf team hosts the 57th Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, Saturday-Monday, Sept. 19-21, at the Academy's Eisenhower Golf Course. This is a two-part event with the team competition being played on the Blue Course and the individual event on the Silver Course.
